My hair has a lot of damage done to it. I went about a year with out a haircut and I damaged it a little while back trying to get it blonde. Well I have had a cut since then and I have tried an at home conditioning treatment (Dove) and it still looks rough. I can not cut these out, some of them go up pretty high, my hair has layers in it, so the splits are in layers. Also, I put highlights in my hair, so that's why some of the splits on the top of my head go up pretty high. I use a straitening iron to smooth it out a little but it still looks frizzy. So anyways, I just want to know what a good at home treatment is that will help my splits. I already know now how to prevent them; I just want to help what I have already done. Thank you!

I used to have a similar problem with bad split ends. I would recommend laying off the straightening iron as the heat won't help any. The thing that worked best for me wast the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle treatment. Instead of using it as just a three minute treatment, try using it every time you wash your hair, like you would a regular conditioner. This solved the frizziness problems and helped prevent more split ends. Unfortunately once hairs are split, the only way to get rid of them is to cut them. If you start using the Aussie treatment, then the problem will go away after you've had another haircut or two.

For a while, don't do anything (straightening iron, any coloration, etc.) to it. The hair is damaged, and it needs time to "heal". Depending how oily your hair is, use a conditioning treatment every day or every other day...and make sure you put a lot on the split ends' area (you don't even need to do the area near your scalp). Triple Moisture Leave In Conditioning treatment is good for that. After doing that so that your hair isn't as damaged (a couple weeks or so), ease back into it, and don't use any harsh chemicals. Good luck!

You can't fix split ends. They don't magically glue back together with the right product. You can remove the splits by ulling them apart, but that is actually worse for your hair, and more stressful to it, and will cause it to break off or become split again.
I'd get a trim on the longer hairs, and as they all grow out, just keep trimming it. It will eventually all be trimmed up, without getting rid of much length.

U can do a hot oil treatment, use infusiom before you wield your flat iron, and buy some Kiehls leave in conditioner and rub it on your ends everyday, but once those ends split they are split. Get a trim and stop dmaging it with bleach.

There is nothing you can do to help your split ends but cut them. Lay off the hair blower, curler, and straightener because they all apply heat, weakening your hair causing you to have split ends.

Try tomato paste at the ends. This may eliminate the splits.

ok, nicely, you may desire to possibly attempt trimming it your self, or having somebody else do it. there is rather no incorrect thank you to do away with them, yet it is common to like use particular shampoos/hair products made for treating chop up ends. and easily, trimming your hair makes your hair in good shape, and advance plenty swifter. desire I helped.
