Dont worry son, I know what you mean!

Its an act of the will, many travel the broad path without him, but few ever find the narrow path which leads to life eternal.

Maybe they dont want to be brainwashed and not live their life because of a mythical figure. Maybe some people just depend on faith to get by in their lives because they cant realistically handle their own life. Because faith is just a comforter. This is just my opinion. So dont bash me or start going all jesus crazy on me. I just would like to live my life more spiritually and know that there is something more out there. But seriously come on. There are so many gods out there and so many figures. How can one group be so detirmined that theirs is the one and only. Maybe one say i'll change my mind but for now religion is a big confusing blur that just creates issues. Look at the world today. Why don't more people start trying to be in general good people and treat others the way they would like to be treated. I mean isnt that what should get you into heaven...Not which god or figure you belive in. Im sorry but if your god is going to deny me heaven because I was a good person and did everything in life the way a good person should just because I didnt go to church well then thats not a heaven I would like to be part of. Maybe its time for people to wake up and accept reality. Just be good people.

Because people are educated (and can spell) and are living in the real world, where reality is what we face everyday and not something that we read about in a book. Why are other people unwilling to accept the hard facts about evolution that you learn in school? Maybe they were unfortunate enough to go to one of those "mock" schools that don't even teach the science of evolution or maybe they are just afraid to face the truth...

It's hard for me to wrap my brain around the whole Jeezer thing. It does not make sense to me on an intuitive level.

Worshiping a human being is, in my way of thinking, idolatry.

A faith that asserts that you must believe in its teachings or you will face eternal hell makes no sense to me.

A great deal of Christian inspirational music is so sappy and saccharin it reminds me of a Massangil feminine hygiene commercial.

Televised Christian preachers are hard for me to to take seriously. Seeing them strut the stage, shout and carry on before an audience of thousands gives me pause.

With precious few exceptions, I have not felt comfortable or relaxed sitting in a Christian house of worship.

Total strangers that approach you, hoping to blow Christian sunshine your way and invite you to discuss with them spiritual issues without even knowing who you are, rank pretty low on the food chain.

Why not ask me about my sex life, or my credit rating, while you are at it? It is rude and condescending.

And finally, I am not at all convinced that the Christian Church really gets what the Jeezer was really trying to get across in the first place.

Because to let Jesus in to your heart, you have to get yourself off the throne, and they don't want to do that. (t's still hard even when you do believe.) God is an offense to people who don't believe. And I'm glad because there would be nothing to him if he wasn't. But Jesus is the sweetest name to those who are burnt out and broken, who have nothing left. And his grace is the tendeest, most beautiful and powerful thing in existance.

Because too may fanatical Christians are trying to ram-rod Him into our psyche by any means possible, guilt, emotionalism, fear, ritual, magic, threats, bribes and cultivating a lust to possess and get more by any-way by any means ... after they get your heart scrubbed clean then they wash your brain and empty the Bank Account and your Saved!

No it should be 'accept' and, if you are a true Christian, 'Jesus'. Also 'don't'. ...But that's just if you want to point out all of ther grammar and spelling mistakes.

To answer your question - not everyone believes Jesus to have been the son of God. If you believe that, that is your decision and I will not judge you for it. All I ask is that others respect my beliefs and don't attempt to change me or my beliefs. Thanks have a great day!

40 or 50 years ago, people would have run you out of town for not being religious. But nowadays, people lose their faith in religion mostly becuase of the terrible things in the world that happen. It makes people doubt the existence of a god.

Religion has done NO good whatsoever in this world. War, discrimination etc are mostly due to religious clashing.

I don't want Jesus or anyone else in my life because I don't believe in it - there is more proof in the world about evolution than God. Between carbon dating, fossils etc why don't you ACCEPT evolution into your heart?

But we evolutionist don't whine and ask why YOU havn't accepted evolution.... I wonder why?!?!
