OOhh yeah, slowly shallow-fry it baby, just a little oil in the pan, start it off really gentle, and turn it up high towards the end, turning it over a few times.
You'll do some red-onions with it, and get some Herbes de Provence on there though, won't you? With boiled baby new potatoes, smeared with a little butter.
And I'd like that delivered... I'm ill today, full of 'flu, but starving!

Place it in an oven dish. Smear it with whole grain mustard - turn it over and do the same with the other side. Now spread on it a Tbl spoon of Honey. Turn it over and do the same on the other side.
Place in a pre-heated oven @ 180oC (Gas Mk4) for approx 35 mins.
In meantime prepare and cook whatever other vegetables of your choice to go with your honey roasted gammon steak.
Bon Appetite

Yes you can fry it. But only for about 3/4 mins on each side as it can go quite dry. Make sure you snip the fat every inch or so to stop it curling up. This way it will cook evenly throughout.

Let it sit in water for as long as you can, this will get rid of the saltiness and then grill it, bake it, fry it, it's pretty versatile

Tie it on a very long string and dip into the sun...should take 2 and a half minutes summertime and 5 minutes wintertime.
