Does anyone know of a good brunch place that serves pancake, crepe and waffle stuff? It doesn't have to be a fancy restaurant w/in some hotels.

I've tried Good Enough To Eat in UWS for the second time, but it's getting worse. The food is not excellent, and it's expensive!menupages.com has too much to offer that I don't even know where to start!

Please, any suggestion? I'll definitely try and give reviews.

Sarabeth's, which has multiple locations in Manhattan, is always a dependable option.

Clinton St. Baking Co. on the LES has a well regarded brunch and is VERY popular with New Yorkers. Please note they accept cash only

Bubby's in Tribeca is another solid choice.

Balthazar in Soho (I haven't yet been but it's on my list) is a possibility and one that actually may take reservations.

Norma's in the Parker Meridien (Midtown) is expensive and makes a lot of "best breakfast/brunch" lists. Also takes reservations.

I have been to all the places listed except where noted. All at the least have good pancakes. They are all popular (thought the tourist/New Yorker ratio varies), so be prepared to wait if reservations are not an option.

Bon Appetit!

F train to Carroll Gardens and head to Le Petite Cafe. The food is great and the outdoor garden at the back is awesome. They have a huge range of breakfast and brunch foods and the service is pretty good too. Make sure you ask for the smoothie menu!

I like Mercer Kitchen, 99 Prince Street. It's comfortable and bright, and open daily for breakfast.

Also Bubby's Pie Company, 120 Hudson St. http://www.bubbys.com/

But I really really miss the Royal Canadian Pancake & Waffle House. Sigh.

Why not take a trip to Bay Ridge and check out PaneAntico on 92nd street and 3rd. Fresh cornetto with Nutella...they have tables outside too...not fancy at all, but super duper delizioso!
