Most likely no.

Most manufacturers have their XP discs setup to work with their specific systems. Only an actual Windows XP CD will work on any system and not be specific to a manufacturer. However, you will have to use your CD-Key that is set to your current XP system.

You can contact Toshiba for a replacement cd for your restore.

Only use the HP disk if it is only XP, it may not even work in another brand.

As long as you have the license number off your laptop you can install XP from any CD - borrow the cd and use it to install.

Will not work. BUT, let me tell you a story. My laptop HP Pavillion started acting up. I took it to the shop so they could find out the problem. I told them to just reinstall windows. I forgot my HP Startup disc which has XP like urs. They said they could still fix it.

If possible, you could ask a friend who has the Windows XP cd..the original one that sometimes comes with computers. Its not the one made for that specific computer..but the one with the certificate n all. Use that. But dont turn on ur updates..because it will eventually check to see if ur XP edition is being used by another computer. U n ur friend could get in trouble..but most likely they'll just disable ur account. So just turn off the windows updates.

Works for me

if the other disc is a recovery disc of course use it. If not go to the toshiba site and see how to get a new one or go to where you purchased it and find out there. good luck
