Although your response was a bit blunt, I agree with the theory behind it. Reflect further on Muslim beliefs about what goes on in Allah's Heaven -- the 70 virgins concept appeals to the lusts of the flesh, which you would think would have no place where a just and righteous god resides .......
It is for the very reasons you cite that, as a Christian, I believe God does not punish unbelievers eternally; I believe His punishment has eternal consequences, in the form of utter destruction in the Lake of Fire.

Salam (Peace)!
Thanks for submitting this even though i hated to read how you said Allah without respect. As a new christian, you should at least be tolerant of your former religion.
Yes, i would have to agree that that wasn't the best encounter and he/she shouldn't have talked to you in such a manner, but i also want you to know that that's not how a true muslim would respond after learning of your reversion.
I am not sure how you were brought up as a Muslim but you leaving Islam probably had more to do with you not having prophet knowledge and you probably had many questions to which you did not get correct answers. But one thing is true without a doubt, that Islam has the answer for EVERYTHING!
I hope i didn't offend you with my answer and i hope you will look at my answer with the notion of understanding and not hatred.
Take care!

In all fairness that is the reply of pretty much any religion. Which is completely wrong of all followers of the various religions. Whether you believe in Allah, Jehovah, Jesus, Buddha or any other God you want to; the underlying principle of every teaching in any religion is God's love. This one, like so many Muslims and Christians (there are others but these two fundamentalists are the worst ones for losing their minds) has lost the meaning of the message from God and while your reply may not have been the most love-filled answer you could have given, I think you were justified in your answer.

God is supposed to be a being who loves and cares (behind the scenes most of the time) for all creation... If the Muslims I know are true to their word, Allah (who is supposed to be the same as Yahweh/God...just different in language title) is supposed to be this...not the one that the stupid Islamist freak you encountered describes...
You were justified in your reply...because that man does not speak for God/Allah/Yahweh or whatever the great being really is called. He (the fundamentalist fool) is the liar and he is the one who more than you deserves to go to hell...
May God (the true One) be with you always...whether you have found a new faith to believe in or not.

I was taught that Allah and God are two names for the same divine entity, the Creator of the Universe. If that is so, I wonder if He weeps for his people, regardless of the religious path they follow. God is love, and to identify ones self as a believer and curse others, condem them and hate them, cannot be the mission God or Allah would have in mind for his people.
Those who believe and pray, would do well to pray for enlightenment and for tolerance.

You were never a Muslim my friend. Muslims don't drop out of Islam cause they see the truth. However, you were right about the nice little place in hell god has for you.
If you were ever a Muslim, you would know why god created us, you would know heaven is full of religious people (people who devote their lives for good, love, peace, Honor) and you would know hell is no joke. Only Jews think they are to good to pray to god, only Jews try to damage the name of Islam and anything that stands in their way.

Religion should help people in some or the other way. Islam is not doing that, instead it is troubling people. Its not a religion anyway. You may choose other religion or be neutral, but dont go back to that religion of stupids.

You should really try not to lower your self to their levels. It is what is in your heart, after all, that really matters. What is right for you may not be right for others, but that doesn't make them wrong...just different. We all have our different paths we must follow. Try to respect the fact that not all follow the same path, and try to understand that they too must follow their hearts. We all came from the same (God) or source, and we all will return in one way or another.[this is the way I choose to believe] Kindness, and compassion and trying to understand their view is more what I do. The way that I believe can only grow with better understanding of the ways of other peoples.
I wish you well on your path,
Aho,
Fenix
