Why is it organized? Doesn't organized mean a heirarchial system in some regards, and does a heirarchial system put individual power in the hands of other's. Is it a way to give away your right to be responsible? Do some people truly need organized religion because of what they are already indoctrined into thinking, and could never see life without it?

Well, yea. It is a man made form of control used to gain power over a population. I would say essentially its goals are fairly evil.

But evil is only in the eyes of those that define it. You can't be evil or know evil until you define evil.

If its an evil religion which is organized then clearly its evil. Organized religion is a method of power. Do this, Don't do that.... Some people do need it, personally I'd prefer to stand in the path of stampeding elephants but hey, whatever...
I don't know if thats yes or no, but probably leaning towards yes.

relies upon what they do. You already made up the undesirable record that some adult adult males have dedicated in the call of religion, so what about such issues as initiating hospitals, orphanages, feeding the hungry, helping the unfavourable, and the sturdy stuff. there is sturdy and undesirable because of what human beings do with it, no longer because faith itself is inherently evil. i can make an both lengthy record of atrocities dedicated through the irreligious. it really is like asking if prepared governments are evil because of each and each of the atrocities wrought through each and each of the quite a few governments for the length of heritage. per chance any form of company is basically evil through that common sense?

I look at organized religion as an oxymoron...plus, I feel that anything man made that is contrary to the teachings of the Bible is a load of crap. Religion is a way to manipulate, control and scare people.

I think organized religion is a neutral concept. It can be (and is) used for good or evil, so it just depends on how it's being used.

Not so much evil... as it is well intended, ignorant, generational, belief systems twisted out of context to ameliorate themselves and feel that they are better than everyone. If human nature is evil, then I guess maybe it is?

To me all religions are man made. God is not a religion. And to know him is to have a personal ongoing relationship with him.
