I am catholic and I believe in God, but I am just not a big fan of him.

You know, not everyone understand or has come to God the way that you have.
Just as children pick on child in school and love the other. It is human nature to pick at the things that they do not understand. And it is Satans way of hardening a heart from God.
Don't lose heart with people. We were never promised an easy road, just that he would be there the whole way.
So when you get upset and mad, pray. I don't know if Catholics just out and out pray (I apologize for not better understanding your faith completely) but that is what I do.
Pray for patients and understanding for others that don't have it so that you can lead by example for those who are lost.

There are a lot of people who don't believe because if they would they would have to admit that they are not their own God and that the are a lot of things in their lives that they are doing that are wrong. Another reason is Satan has deceived many people. He has told them that there isn't any God but in urn has made himself out to be a God for them to worship. It's really sad the way the world is today. Just continue with your faith and know that God has a plan for us all.

Nonsense Stephanie. If you are the one that says God exists then the burden of proof is on you. There is no evidence that even suggests God might exist.
I was born an Irish Catholic. When I reached about 14 I started asking questions and got really dumb answers. I realized it's because people are really just making it all up.
Now I'm an atheist and nothing short of scientific proof of God's existence will convince me otherwise.

If you know the truth, why are you soooooo offended at what others think. You should know that ever since Adam & Eve there has always been the good seed and the bad seed. A person is either born of 1 or the other. Abel was of the good seed. Cain was of the bad. Isaac was of the good seed. Ishmael was of the bad etc. If you know that you are on the right track, then why worry what others think. I am a born again, spirit filled Cxhristian. What others think of my Lord does not worry me so much asit does not affect the outcome of my relationship with the Lord; it affects their relationship with God, or lack of. Please look up the words "Catholicism" and "Baal Worship" on your internet. Don't take my word for it but look it up yourself. You might be surprised.
Mar 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
This is the true definition of a Christian. It has nothing to do with what denomination or religion you belong to.

I believe in God.
I know it is hard to read some of the things people say - especially in the hateful way they say it. Don't be discouraged. It is important speak the truth in love and not lash back at them. Some have legitimate questions that need answering. We may not be able to change their mind but maybe someone will benefit from genuine answers. I feel personally compelled to defend the truth of Jesus Christ here as I would anywhere.

I believe in God.......without a doubt. My mother in law had a severe stroke and the doctors wrote her off. They told us she would never do anything but lie in bed if she even made it through. She even had brain stem swelling, and Ive never seen anyone live thorough that in all my years in the medical field. We prayed endlessly for a week, and she slowly woke up and started whispering things. By the next week, she was able to eat with assistance and move her arms and legs. Now, (2 weeks later) she is able to walk with a walker, feed herself, and even talk on the phone!!!!! She is coming home at the end of this month......now tell me thats not a miracle....!!! God exsists and he is VERY real. Without a miracle......she would not have survived. The doctors even came in and shook their heads in disbelief!!! If you dont believe God can heal....please read this post.......its true and ive experienced this miracle.

you know, by posting this question, you have commited 7 Catholic sins.
God is a great idea. God offers shelter to those who need it. He offers support and care and love, but when you organize religion and start to persecute and convert others because your God is the only God and this invisible being that no one has seen before is your only way to escape eternal damnation....
That's what I hate.

We know the truth of the greatness of God. Everyone doesn't know God or ever will. That's just the sad facts. To know Him is to love Him. The immaturity and rudeness just shows their ignorance. Greater is He who is in you than He who is in the world. It's sad, but alls you can do is hope the best for them.

I fully agree with what you say. God is there and its only sometimes that we do not realise this fact. Once somebody falls down and is back against the wall, he prays to Him and He rescues him. You see its all a question of develop our faith in Him. Don't worry about them who do not believe in Him. He will forgive them. Amen!
