Now I do'nt mean any disrespect...but by who's standard are you saying that Islam is the best? If by numbers alone that doesnt impress me at all...for all you know I could say that the large number of converts to that religion are either suckers, poor souls forced to join (in some places this is true like in South Asia) or just trying to get an easy way of life (which should never be why one decides to join a faith in the first place right?)

Perhaps for many of its millions of true followers it provides the truth they seek to complete their lives...all honest and good faiths and belief systems (this may include Atheism) have some truth to offer now do'nt they? If you consider their testimony then you could say that Islam is a great faith...

For others, especially the non-Muslims and Atheists...well we would never say that Islam is the best religion...especially if you consider the prevalent negative stereotype of a foul terrorist-spawning religion (personally I know it is'nt true...but thats just how many see you guys now...blame Osama and Fiends for that problem).

All I am saying is that no one can say for certainty whether Islam or any other religion for that matter is the best because we all have different points of view and that we have no standard or measure to decide that objectively and without bias...

I think that in order to get to heaven in Islam you have to try to accomplish five things. I am not totally sure what they are but I believe that they have to do with Mecca. or something. You can not Do something and get to heaven. I think also that Islam pretty much beats women down into a submissive position in their own home. (Not good, The woman is suppose to be cherished.) also, They are taught that if a person does not believe like them that they are an infidel. (Oh and that means that you should kill them). I heard one brainiac on here that says that Islam is truth. hahahahahahaahahhaahahahaha When you seek the True God you will find Him. I would ask you to do this, ask your self what is going to remove your offence against God? Since you have offended and insulted the Most High God, do you really think that He is going to be appeased just by you attempting to visit a city or have a "pilgrimage". Blood only washes away sin. If you do not wish to place your faith in the Christ. That is your choice, you will have an eternity to think about it.

Yes because we Islam is the only religion that worships ONE God without partners. They emphasize knowing your Creator and Worshiping your Creator in the proper way. They way a Prophet would worship the ONE true God of the heavens and earth. Islam explains all your questions as well doesn't matter what it is. The Quran is the words of the Creator of the heavens and Earth. We have it preserved in tact and millions of people have memorized it from cover to cover.

depends on your outlook. It appears at least to me that to many of them believe that if your not then you are better off dead. They also have no qualms about killing people who are different. A lot of them follow the mullahs like sheep. They do not think for themselves guess that is what happens, when a person has no education, except for what is taught by the mullahs who want to hold onto power.
