Do you ever find yourself torn between spirtual principles and human principles? Spiritually everything in life is a lesson, everthing happens for a reason and lessons teach us to forgive and to love unconditionally. But when as a human do you step in and say this is wrong, we cannot allow poverty, child abuse, war etc. When are you interferring and when are you helping?

There is no spiritual principle that suggests we do nothing. We are to act to stop hurtful, harmful things. How we do it, is where the spiritual principle enters the equation. If I truly act in love then I am not interferring. It is only when I claim to be acting in love, in order to further some agenda, that I would be interferring.

Why would one would be torn? There's no incompatibility. When I see the drunk driver swerving towards me at a crosswalk, the fact that utlimately or metaphysically there's a reason for my being there at that particular moment, doesn't change my decision to jump out of the way and avoid painful hospitalization or worse. There a reason I spotted him, as well :)
Ultimately spiritual matters are all opinion- no one has left this plane of existence and returned with photos, so all theories about what lies beyond and why it all works like it does, fall into the category of "Hmmm. maybe" This includes, the Koran, the Bible, etc.
On the other hand, we have actual knowledge of this physical universe which we occupy, and the laws which govern it. We know from that human behavior runs the range from kindness to cruelty - we know that people need food & water to survive.
We can look at the development and conflicts among nations and societies, examine history and learn what has been successful and what has failed in the past, and what led to those results.
I choose to make decisions based upon what is known and can be demonstrated/confirmed/tested, rather than what we believe without any supporting evidence. If I see a rattlesnake in the road ahead of me, I'll avoid walking over it, since I expect it will bite if trodden upon, and there's plenty of evidence as to how unpleasant that would be.
If a drug-addicted friend asks me to loan him $400 so that he can attend vocational training and there's one day left to enroll, and because he was sick he couldn't enroll before the last day of the deadline, I'll decline- the fact that I'd like to see him clean, benefit from that training and be a productive member of society is outweighed by the overwhelming likelihood that the $$$ would go straight to a dealer within minutes. On the other hand if his parents were asking for the same, I'd be much more confident that they'd be getting him enrolled.
Now in the absence of information- sure, that's where spiritual principles come in. They are a fine supplement to information, but not a substitute.
Your final question was when are we interfering and when are we helping? My question is- ultimately, how can we interfere? Is not any action we take simply an integral part of the picture?

i am a strong spiritual beleiver, and honestly sometimes i beleive that humans can naturally be evil doers. Things like child abuse and war are all results to evil human behavior. All i can do is hope and act upon making a difference and changing one life at a time. Its really heartbreaking. I beleive in a higher power, and i beleive in the second coming of christ, and various spritual natures that exist. everything else to me is garbage. i think if people found a middle ground and left there left and right extremes there would be a unity for a specific cause. Peace i have come to realize will never exist. There are toooo many people from many backrounds who sometimes just cant understand there neighbor. so i leave it at that. Help the kids and help yourself. Thats where you will feel that you made a differece. Spiritual principles are more about you than anything else.

Hi Tequila,
I think this dilemma exists for us, because we are incomplete, spiritually. God has generously offered to send His Spirit into us, when we come to Him as humble children. When this happens, we become new creatures, part mortal, part Immortal. The old ways of materialism and fear, fall away. Love and Wisdom, become the foundation of all our choices. When we are confronted with a choice about how to serve the needs of others, we will be guided into the right path for our gifts. We must not make the mistake of trying to do too much in the material realm, without doing equal or greater time and effort spiritually. Fostering love, and praying for people to find their spiritual natures, are very good things indeed.

There is no conflict between spiritual and human principles. Evil happens because people choose to do evil things, and good people must stand up and do something about it. To say that you shouldn't do something about, say child abuse, for example, because it is one of those "everything happens for a reason" things is a cop out.

No.
All principles are the same.
Being torn up about them is being uncertain.
Life happens,
for a reason,
there is no coincidence,
chance.
We create,
each person creates threir reality.
Realize that you are human.
Create your reality.
Live it, be it.
It is duty to help others.
That's why we are here.
To ehlp others learn who we are, and they might learn who they are.
When all people can agree, then something will stop, change.
I hear what you're saying,
even though it sounds like I'm not answering.
I might not be answering the way that you want to hear.
It's all relative, extremely relevant, and it does matter.
Peace, joy, and love!!

That is an amazing question, young woman.
I totally agree with your view of the world (my understanding comes from the accounts of Near Death Experiences which describe the earthly realm in those terms).
But I don't think that the troubles of this world are only meant to provide experiences for soul growth.
They are also there to provide us with the opportunity to practice love and give of ourselves.
So I think that it is not necessarily counter to our missions to work to make other people's lives better.
Especially when it is done from a place of unconditional love.
And I really don't think it is necessary to try to determine whether an action constitutes interference or not.
God Bless You.

You can either live a rightous life with Jesus as your savior, or you can live a sinful lost life with out Jesus. It is sin and satan that is the reason we have poverty. I stand firm on the word of God and I trust in Him completely in all things. Even if I wonder why some things happen, then I turn to this scripture and draw strength from it.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
What I have learned is that as a Christian, satan can do what ever he wants to with my body, but he will never be able to touch my soul. Even little children's souls are protected by God until they know what a sin is and commit it with that knowlege and must be born again through acceptance of Jesus as their savior.
We must as Christians fight off the temptations that satan thows at us so He can't do anything to our earthly bodies. When we sin in the flesh, we must repent of those sins every day, because we sin every day. To grow stronger in your ability to resist sin, you must grow stornger in your relationship with the Lord and have Him as your savior. It is sin and satan that is the reason for the bad in this world and the hunger, and suffering.
People give satan the power over them, and then blame God. If this entire world went up against satan and they all accepted Jesus as their savior, don't you see that satan would loose his power over us, because we took it from him? Satan onlly has power over you if you give it to him. You want to keep that power from him, then we all must do this...
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh

I believe, because I have seen repeatably in my life how important it is to help others. Others have always seemed to help me, maybe because I help others whenever I can. I do not think that helping others is a requirement for being spirituality blessed but I think it is the right thing to do. I do not like the phrase what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger but I do believe it is true.

its like UNITED STATES OF AMERICA vs MUSLIM AMERICAN.
the US LAW is near perfect to a point where there is no PREJUDICE OF ANY TYPE. To anyone who every said THAT THE KLU KLUX KLAN was racist needs to talk to me. I belive there is a white culture because the relgion and background that I come from really diskes if someone is a little off white. Basically what I am saying is American is perfect to fill in bllanks where your own religoin or relatives messed up or you feel they are wrong. Get AMERICANNNNNNNNNN.
NOW if your BUSHHH , you need to GET AMERICANNNNNNNNNNN. I think MUSLIMS SHOULD steal GOAT FROM HIS TEXAS RANCH. @ least thats how muslim a musllim can get. BUT if they go to WHITE HOUSE oh NOOO they are REALLY bad people.
bush WHAT YOU say TEXAS RANCH HERE WE COME.
