If you mean how do you learn something and not forget it:

You must first want to learn and then work hard at remembering what you have learned. Link new knowledge to old, organize it and remember it by association. Understanding what you are learning may also help to retain the new knowledge. This page may help in learning to retain what you learn....

There is really no particular time of day when everyone learns something better than another although many believe when you go to bed, you retain information that you hear while you sleep.
(my husband being one of these who believe in sleep-learning) These sites may help you to understand this better....

I retain information from writing it.... once I write (not type or photocopy) information, I tend to remember it.

Hope this helps....
