I finally got my kids to wear sandals because they pick them out them self at modells.they also picked out sneakers but they do not want to wear socks is that going to be a problem sice we live in new jersey. do your kids wear no socks with there sneakers

Yea kids do that when they are too lazy or busy to go and get a pair of socks.
Life is much too exciting and if they stop and go get socks they might miss something.
Its normal for kids to wear shoes without socks. But its gross it makes the shoes all smelly.
Try and get them to wear socks.. the shoes *might* last a little longer that way.

They should wear socks because if they don't, their feet and sneakers will stink. Also, they will probably get blisters on their feet or ankles. If they don't want to wear long socks, get them ankle or sport socks or fold/bunch down the longer socks. My kids always wear socks of some sort with their sneakers.

In the summer I even have a habit of throwing on my tennis shoes real quick with no socks. My son does every so often but I prefer nice cozy socks! Get them some rainbow- really bright socks they will really love and they will have no problem wearing them! Works everytime! Good luck!

They will wear socks when the weather gets colder, plus wearing sneakers without socks makes your feet and shoes stink.

you can get special socks for wearing under sneakers in the uk they are called trainer liners and they are socks that just fit on the foot itself not on the ankle- they cannot be seen under the shoe- would that be a good compromise for you and your fashion conscious kids?

They don't need to wear socks, it's not a requirement for sneakers.
You just may have to wash them a little more often.
