Because they know what the bible says is true, they just dont want to obey it.God moves thorugh everyone, but it is up to that individual to do what God is telling them. What they dont' realize is that if they are not with God and accept His son Jesus as their savior, they belong to satan.
A life with satan is like molton hot quick sand, and those who are lost and do not have Jesus as their savior are sinking fast. God gave all lost sinners the same rope to pull themselves out of that molton hot quick sand, and place theri feet onto a solid rock. That rock is Jesus. It is up to them if they want to sink and die or pull themselves onto the rock of Jesus and have eternal life in heaven, or sink the rest of the way in that molton hot quick sand for all eternity. That means forever people!

Why do so many Christians bite? We are to spread His word(love). Not get angry or defend Him. He is God, he doesn't need us to defend Him. If we feel angry when we read a question, then maybe we need to do what Jesus would do, PRAY before we answer. I see so many of us just throwing scripture at people, like they're throwing wood on a fire. If that's what Jesus wanted He could have just hit everyone in the head with Bibles, but we need more than the words on the paper (or computer screen) to comprehend their meaning. Instead He told us to go spread the Good News. And yet I see so many of us, returning anger and spite for anger and spite. What happened to turn the other cheek?
Does the motive for the question really matter? Isn't it the answer that is of importance? We never know who might read it.

Why do christians ask the questions they do?
Are they looking for answers or trying to anger us?
It's a two way street friend. I wonder who gets more upset?
Open debate requires an open mind. Some people are too biased to accept this.

Both. Probing questions highlight shortcomings in belief. For most of the questions, we already know the answer. We're just trying to get you to realize the answer, too. Sometimes that angers people, but sometimes anger is the first step to understanding. Frequently, the anger is just frustration at not being able to adequately respond to the question.

There are many reasons why non believers ask the ? that they do. I was once told that it takes more faith to not believe in God than it does to believe. Sometimes I think that is really true. Some people refuse to believe, others want to but don;t know how, and some look for proof as a reason to believe. No matter what their reasons are for asking the questions that they do, we as christians are supposed to witness to them. They should not make us angry with their questions. We should always be willing to witness and ready to proclaim the gospel. There may come a time when someone may need to be witnessed to and they make us mad with their ? and we don't respond to them and they end up not getting saved. There are questions that are asked that are simpld stupid and make a mockery of Christ. I have responded to those people with a message answering their question and warning them of what they are doing. People will persecute you for your beliefs. You have to stand in the Lord and continue to be strong and let them know what the bible says and pray for that person and hope they see what they are doing wrong and that they get saved and change their ways. We as christians are not supposed to turn anyone away from hearing the word. Jesus didn't, people did the same things to Him as what we are going through now. Jesus will not give us more than we can bear to carry and he will guide us with the non believers that make us mad with their questions and show you how to respond to them in a christ like manner.

Why do you seem to think that non-Christians are looking for YOUR answers? Do non-christians have the right to ask questions that don't have a Christian answer? How arrogant!
We don't know everything, but neither do you. The difference is we enjoy seeking our own answers instead of having them conveniently handed to us.
Besides, aren't anger and hatred SINS? Better go repent or ask for forgiveness or something else to make you feel superior.

Both. Some people are truly just trying to get our goats.
However there are others who ask things in a manner that seem like jerks but are truly non believers and need to understand.
My husband is the perfect example. I KNOW God has his hand in everything in my life (No person can be as lucky as I have been so its definitely him).
But my husband ask things that he doesn't understand and it seems like he is trying to be a jerk and make me mad. His questions are almost more like cocky shots at what I think. But when I pray about it I realize that he is honestly trying to reach out and is just so astonished by my faith that he wants to understand. And its hard for them too. Just when you find those people pray about it and for them.
I don't know how old you are but the older you get the more you will be able to determine who is just being a jerk to you. The ones that no matter what you say you are wasting your breath. And the ones that genuinely want answers.
Hang in there.

The real answer is that they don't understand how you don't see the gaps in your reasoning for following a religion. They are trying to point out certain arguments that should make you think a little. There are many aspects of your belief that do not make sense, are contradictory, or that they have never gotten a decent answer to.
You may feel the answers to their questions are simple and obvious, but they clearly are not to them. They think the chinks they show in your armor are obvious and they are trying to figure out why you don't see them.

I think they're trying to anger us, trying to get us to loose our cool.
Some may be trying to change our minds, but that's a big waste of time. If our faith was so weak that a questioning stranger could change it, it wasn't very strong to begin with. I don't think those willing to come to Q&A are that weak in their faith.
I often wonder how old most of them are. I'd guess 12-14 years old, and I'm not trying to be rude. The mind set just seems to be rather young and immature.

Why do Christians ask the questions they do?
You would think that since you know all the answers you wouldn't be on here asking questions.
I'm not out to anger anyone, I'm just asking, the same thing you do.
If you don't like our questions then why answer them?
If I don't like your questions I don't answer them.

Next time, maybe you could provide an example so I'd know what kind of question you're talking about so I could form some kind of coherent and adquate response. What kind of question is this, anyway? Are you looking for meaningless answers to a rhetorical question?
Man, I feel myself getting dumber as I'm writing this...
