I think that's a great Ideal,, I mean we want to share our religion with the modern world but our vision of Jesus hasn't been updated for 1000's of years. Why wouldn't he keep up with the times,,???
I mean if you read the scriptures it says he died and suffered to forgive all the sins of the world, and that he has experienced every single pain and torment, and trial, and temptation of every person,, well I am sure that my temptations and pains are different than those of ppl in the 500's or even in the 1700's or 1920's,, if he's keeping up with the new pains and temptations and struggles of humanity then why wouldn't he look more like todays people?

If we were going by alot of the drawings, yes, I would say he does. Alot of them make him look feminine. however, all picture of Jesus were with short hair, until Michael Deangelo, who was a homosexual, with long hair. Coins from that period of time show men with short hair. So our pictures of him are not factual.
