Does it really matter how old she is at this point? I mean, you have a personal question that is looking for an answer to help you out, right?
Okay then.
Well, how is this guy usually? Does he flirt with every pretty girl he talks to? And he gave you a ride home just to say goodbye? Thats so cute. Seems to me that you already have him hooked. My best advice would be to ask him. Kind of work your way in there as your flirting you know. "So you know I really like you, your funny, blah blah blah..." But are you really ready to get into a relationship? Or do you just wanna flirt around and be free? Yes, age at some point takes its toll because if your really young then dilemmas like this should be avoided (boys are everywhere and come and go) even though its nice to feel liked by a boy and learn from your problems.
Point being, just tell him straight out. If he's not telling you maybe he's just shy or it's too early. Step up to the plate and let him know!! Otherwise this thing you guys have will get old and confusing. Have you guys gone out on any little dates? I suggest a night out with a group of friends or something...It not only breaks the ice but you'll feel more comfortable...unless of course you rather be alone with him away from distraction. Perhaps this will allow you to express yourself and for him as well. Good Luck! Be safe!

First of all, how old is this guy? You shouldn't date anyone over a year older than you, it's just dangerous nowadays. All you need to do is keep flirting with him until you're sure, you don't want to make your move if you're not sure, you could do permanent damage to your social life!!

Casually, in a friendly way, ask him who he likes. pretend like you are asking for a friend, (without saying that it, if possible). That way, if he says no, it's not so big of a deal(at least he won't think it is.) If he says that he likes you, then say something along the lines of, "Oh, well that'll work out- cuz I like you." If he doesn't like you, don't sweat it. Just pretend like nothing happened, and continue being good friends with him. there are more fish in the sea.

if he is driving, legally, and your 13. . . I think he might just be a bit too old for you. You need to have relationships with people nearer your age. And by relationships, I mean friendships, and the emphasis is on the "s" in friendships. You need to learn how to cultivate friendships; where to put limits. don't worry so much about possessing a boyfriend.

Well if you like him, ask him to hang out with you and a couple of friends that way it would not be like a date and see how things go from there. There would be no pressure on either side. Have fun!

I assume when you say "rode you home," that means you both were on bikes, rather than that he gave you a ride in his car. If he is older than you, then drop it. If he's your own age, experiment with honesty, and see where it leads.

all i can say is just walk up to him and if your shy write him a letter, but you do wat to be sure to watch out what you write because guys can use it against you and run around and show it to everyone for bragging rights. so its best if you just sit down with him at lunch or when you have free time and just tell him or hit around to it and get the point across so that he will ask you out instead of you having to totally ask him out he will turn the conversation to you and then he will ask you out.(if he likes you)
