Many injuries in stroke wards come from people who have had parietal lobe strokes and awaken to find the "alien" hand attached to them, and do everything they can to get away from it, frequently falling out of bed.

I've heard of phantom hand maybe this is a new strain. Only start to worry when you fingers grow reeeaaaallly long and the nails become very hard and grow at a phenomenal rate. When they start going warty though, I'm afraid nothing can be done.

Interesting. I never heard of it . I guess you don't have it eithersince u asked if it existed which I suppose it does since there is an extensive article and research on it.

someone was just on about this. asking if its posabably to rape themself with this condition. i didnt think it existed but looks like it does.
