I am getting mixed answers here...I guess instead of personal expierences (which are the best) I am goingto have to look to science to solve this. Anyone?

Yes it does. From my experience as a Bartender, Alcohol and the mix, separates. Alcohol goe to the bottom, or absorbs in fruit which in turn lies on the bottom. I myself, use the straw to stir, them remove it, or chew on it, whatever. I do know that it will make you drunker faster if you drink it through a straw.

I think so. But if you want to get drunk cheaply then do what I do and make your own. It takes a while to ferment but once it does then just keep putting more in the barrell and then there's no more paying for booze. Like I have 11 Gallons of home made wine fermenting at the moment, like it's 12% proof and is really calming [like I use it to go to sleep]. And the whole 11 gallons only cost $16.dollars. That's all. Sugar is almost all of the cost and like it's about 1kilo per gallon.

the straw has nothing to do with it. Everyone has their own tolerance if they use a straw or not. once a perticular person reaches their "limit" they start to feel tipsy.

Somones tolerance can be effected by how much thy drink, their body mass, how fast they are drinking as so on ...

Its just a myth. Even though if the alcohol has settled to the bottom it would make perfect sense. All things considered though, it does the same effect when the full drink is done.

No - except if it makes you consume the drink faster. Otherwise how drunk you are is dependent upon body mass, gender and alcohol dehydrogenase concentration (among other things..) in your body.
