Dogs ***rarely*** can be allergic to human skin and human skin scale mites.

We are often allergic to the dander (dead skin that is continually shed), the saliva, or the urine of animals. Or it just could be the pollen or molds that may happen to be on the fur of the dogs. Just simply, all that nasty stuff they have on their bodies make us allergic.

Humans don't have fur (or much of it in some people's cases) and we bathe ourselves regularly, thus getting rid of our dead skin (and saliva and urine that may be on us, god-forbid!). So dogs should have little problems with us!
