I don't agree ...My XP Pro with proper updates, virus protection, spyware detection, firewall management...Runs flawlessly.
It has a lot to do with the operator and the maintenance of your equipment.
I have a system that I bought in 1995 with Win98 that has original OS install.
I know people that re-install there Windows every couple of months and it's hilarious to me.
It usually relates to the inability to understand the software.
I see a re-install with my systems about every 10 years...including novel file servers.
Mac OS is OK but I would relate the hardware that it runs on as CPT (Cheap Plastic Toys).
Remember that when your #1 people will take there shots at you.
My suggestion for wrecking your PC would be to find some road construction and ask the crew to take care of it for you.
They should be willing to accommodate a HOT CHICK and they have the proper equipment.
example - Road Roller - Jack Hammer -

You really do need to let your 'true' feelings out, ya know. Windows isn't perfect... but I've worked with it for over a decade and, with some assistance, (like antivirus and firewall, etc) it's not too bad!
Mac has it's place, as does Windows. If you're going to destroy your machine, why don't you give it to a charity, and then someone in need (that has no computer at all) will be able to use it?

Don't wreck it! Hot, soapy water and a wire brush on the mother board will clean it right up, good as new!
By the way, windows gets the most viruses because it is used the most. If most of the world used linux, then the people who write viruses and other crap would target linux.

i agree that windows is prone to too many virus...but now since the major mail services like yahoo and gmail scan all the data...the probablity of you getting a virus through mail is very less...have you ever noticed that you can't send a .exe file as attachment in yahoo or gmail...even if you change the file name..it doen't work...and try Linux...i think it has more applications build for it than mac...it is scalable...and since all of them love linux ...no one is going to make a virus for linux...why there are viruses for windows is that...most people don't like the microsoft policy of paying for the software...but think about the people who work there...they too are humans...they work like anything to give it's users the best...they depend on the company for a living...the people who make virus are geniuses gone bad....

Throw it out a window, or take it out in a field with your friends and a baseball bat (a la Office Space)
