If we started a campaign, would the lazy sods actually do something about it.
Anyone liking them is sick and will get a thumbs down.

Funnily enough Billie, I ate a bag this morning. You're right, they stink like Hell.
They're still popular round these parts(London)

I think prawns taste disgusting so I won't be joining your campaign.
I really like that sesame prawn toast stuff you can get in chinese restaurants though. Can you ask the crisp companies to bag them up when you go and see them?
Oh and I like prawn crackers but they already sell them in packets. They don't taste much like prawns either.

I haven't eaten prawns since I projectile vomited real prawn cocktail all over an entire christening party when I was 2/3 years old - so I can't remember what prawns taste like and so I have no idea whether or not prawn cocktail crisps taste like real prawn cocktail or if skips and prawn crackers taste of prawn either. I do eat prawn skips though, just because I know there are no prawns in them! I love salt and vinegar flavour - you can't mess up salt and vinegar flavoured anything!

These crisp scientists are cleverer than you think. Unleaded petrol, Blue Lemonade, L.S.D and asbestos were all discovered accidentally in the quest for the perfect tasting Prawn cocktail crisp. Why get it right when getting it wrong reaps better rewards?
Scampi Fries smell remarkably like a lady I once knew, it's uncanny!

I suppose if you really wanted the taste of prawns, then you would eat the real McCoy (not the crisps). Actually, I make a point of never eating crisps as I think they all taste like sh!t.

My son loves them. He calls them "Prawn Cocks".
"Can I have a bag of Prawn Cocks, mum?"
"Certainly, son. But wash your hands when you've finished."
They really smell, as well as tasting nothing like prawns.

What do you think was the real inspiration for the taste. It must be tempting to for example create the flavour of bum and pass it off as beef.

If you really think about it though, cheese and onion don't exactly taste like cheese and onion. The only crisp that can truely hold up to its name, in my opinion, is the salt and vinegar flavoured crisp.

True, but it's the same with all types of flavours, if you think about it it would be virtually impossible to get the flavours just right.
