Lemon oil is good for internal oak doors. Use a soft cloth like flannel to apply it. Bruce flooring makes some things that are good for doors too. I stay away from stains and varnishes as they seem to make the wood more remote.

Personally I would wax. Some oils can go a bit sticky over time. A good quality furniture wax such as Brywax should do the trick. If the doors are a little rough then apply with wire wool then buff then apply more if needed with a soft cloth then buff. If the doors are smooth to start with just use a soft cloth.

Bri-Wax clear is good on oak.
As said earlier, rub down with steel wool then rub in the wax.
Buff it to a shine.
Old T-shirts are good for this.
Do not use those yellow dusters!
You'll get a mirror finish.
Don't buy steel wool in B&Q as you get tiny amounts for too much money.
But it in packs (hanks) from a decorators' merchant.
Medium grade should do it.

A good quality wax like fiddies will do the trick. It's a tad more expensive than the stuff you'll get in places like B&Q but it'll really bring the wood to a lovely natural colour.

I would stay away from oil and varnish. Give one or two coats of white french polish and sand down and wax after that.

I have an antique oak dresser that I have never used anything on but Linseed oil. Apply with a soft cloth. Quick, economical and great results.

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/QnkM4
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.
