It all depends on how much you wear the brace while you're healing. If you try to take it off when you don't feel like wearing it, it will probably take longer for you to heal. If you follow the Dr's orders and do what he/she says, your bone should heal in 6-8 weeks!!! Best of luck!

I would say it would be around 4 weeks before you can take it off. the exterior of the bone will have already healed by then but you will have to be EXTREMLEY carefull not to bang , strain or generally knock it in anyway for the next 2-3 weeks. Plus your diet and exercise regime does have an effect on healing
