I don't really understand your question so I am going to tell you a couple of things from what I'm reading. First, if you have never been to a movie theater, then wow! There is really nothing to worry about if that is all that it is. The movie screen is very large, the seats are in rows and when the movie comes on, the lights go out and the movie plays onto the screen. Also the sound is loud and it can actually be felt.
So, if you have a fear or being in tight closed places, of the dark, crowds, or loud noises, then its anxiety and I would see about getting some medication from a doctor to help you cope with the problems. If you are just a little nervous about the unknown, then I would just go for it. The worst thing that could possibly happen is you get embarrassed because you get a little scared and you have to leave. Just remember that! Also, go see a comedy for the first one. That way its light, funny and not scary so it might help you feel a little better about being there.

if you are not comfortable with the idea yet, wait till you are mentally prepared. do you mean girl friends ? if you are hesitant, because you think they expect puppy love in the dark, decide whether you like that behaviour. if it's for sheer fun, select the movie, the theatre, and the timings perfectly. have enough cash on you, if you are going on a date. buy the tickets in advance, treat her for an icecream, or popcorn, and take her for a not too expensive dinner later. the movie should not be a serious one, opt for a comedy. even if you miss the link, it won't matter. while getting intimate, move according to her response. and go easily, just expect nothing, except some good time !

i think it would be harder if it was just 2 of you cuz then u might feel awkward, however if it's a group of friends, since there's more of you there's no real pressure on you to do anything cuz you'll blend in with the mix. it's fun going to movies with your friends cuz afterwards you can laugh about it, talk about it with someone who actually saw it... and depending on the movie, you all can cry together, scream and hug each other or laugh together. i think you should go and have fun!!
