I guess I should have said "Joe Civilian" since I'm already a US Navy vet.

1. VOTE - exercise your right to vote.
2. Talk to your neighbours occassionally - strengthen your neighbourhood. Don't just grunt, as you see each other open your garage doors, on the way to work.
3. Show tolerance towards other people's opinions - opinions you disagree with - don't try to enforce your PoV on everyone.
4. Consider joining groups such as the ACLU & Amensty International.

We have people in OUR communities, who are being alienated. We need to create a community of inclusion and tolerance. Right now, there are lots of examples of intolerance in the UK - which is one reason why there are terrorist sympathisers & supporters in local communicators in the UK. The US may be no better.

We have to stamp this out, by practising the Democratic values that are the foundation of our country & give the hatred nowhere to hide.

Terrorism is a movement of Islamics to obtain better jobs more opportunities unfortunatly they do not know how to go about it. Maybe it is easier for them to just be aggressive to obtain what they want but it does not make it right. To many people look the other way because they don't want to get involved personally. It needs to be a movement of education for Americans not to give away what belongs to them thru bleeding heart measures. The number of illegal aliens is up to 12 million. Is that enough to tip the scales in America. What about the people who built this intrastructure in America working 30 years day and nite. Do they not get to reap what they sow. If a bad attitude gets me what I want then maybe I should not have worked thirty years to help America become one of the richest countries in the world. People need to start working. Stop crying poor me. Respect other civilizations with a attitude of aiding one another to survive.
If you can find a way, a small way to communicate the needs to other Americans to stand up for what you believe in and not to lay down at the idea of conflict maybe we will be able to maintain a lower economy that is more realistic and rid ourselves of political mistakes as illegal aliens. I could go on for hours but a beginning is a beginning.

1. Choose one specfic area/location to be active in (too much only ends in frustration)
2. Gain as much knowledge on that specific area as you can
3. Contact political figures over and over again until you get a dialoge going.
4. Find local leaders who can/will support you (or are already active)
