eat an apple in the morning when you would usually have a coffee

exercise more- especialy stuff that makes you sweat- you'll get rid of all the toxins buried deep inside from the caffeine

drink mint/green/herbal tea when you get a bad craving- after a few weeks you won't remember the taste of coffee and start craving the tea, which is naturally caffeine free

Be prepared for 3 days of hell!

Over the course of the 3 days your headache will get progressively worse and seemingly untouchable by usual tablet remidies. Drink lots of water and avoid people who annoy you (unless you fancy head ripping as a by product!)

However day 4 you'll feel great and awake with no cravings as such other than the habbit of having coffee! I drank fruit teas (all of which were yukky except the lemon Zester by Typhoo).

Really good experience, even if it ust to be aware of how potent caffine is!

Just take a lot of aspirin to get rid of the headache's associated with caffeine withdrawal and take up a new hobby to keep your mind off coffee.

OR YOU COULD JUST START SMOKING!!!

There's not much you really can do, Tylenol for the headaches, or you could try drinking a soda, which does have some caffeine, although that may just put you on a soda addiction. I guess for the most part, you just have to tough it out.

I gave up coffee because I was getting palpitation's through too much caffeine , I started drinking decaff and couldn't get on with it, my body started craving tea (because of the caffeine) I now drink tea all the time and hardly ever get palpitations, so if I were you just drink weak tea and gradually wean yourself off caffeine. good luck.

Lots of very cold water in small amounts, no more than 150ml a serving, but aiming for about 3L a day. I found that even things like 'brufen didn't do much for the headaches though - you might just have to cope with that...

You should've tapered down your caffeine intake, that would have prevented the withdrawal symptoms.

Wean yourself.
Day one, have coffee until 5pm
Day two, until noon,
Day three, until 9,
Day four, one cup in morning.
Day five, no caffeine.

i am the ultimate coffey addict.
i weaned myself from it by only using de-cafe coffey and it does the trick.
you get to still drink coffey and it taste like coffey, just without the rush of caffiene.
this really works for me, you HAVE TO TRY IT.
i love my coffey, that smell of coffee in the morning just get me started.
enjoy!
