why is poo brown?

Its because of the presence of bile, which is formed in the liver and stored in the gall bladder, it does have a purpose and that is it makes fats easier to absorb. As it passes down the colon, bacterial and enzyme action turns it from it's green colour to brown.

i think most colours if you mix them together make brown so its probably just a mixture of all the colours you've eaten.

my poo was green yesterday as I'd eaten blueberrys the day before. in case anyone was interested.

because of your liver it turns your food that colour because of the acids which are in your belly
