You can get stretchmarks if your skin's flexibility is not enough to support your sudden weight gain/weight loss. Unfortunately, you can only get rid of it using laser (ask your dermatologist about this). As for creams, your best bet would be any brand of cocoa body butter lotion to minimize its appearance.

Stretch marks appear for a variety of reasons, but usually because that area of your body has gained a lot of weight or the skin has been stretched too quickly. This is why lots of women get stretch marks during pregnancy. I don't think you can get them from working out, at least that has never happened to me. There is no way to really get rid of them, but there are topical creams you can use to reduce their appearance.

You can get the stretch marks from gaining weight. I don't know of a way of getting rid of them. Maybe plastic surgery.

You develop stretch marks when you gain and lose weight. You can't get them from woking out ( any that occur are caused by weight loss). You cannot get rid of them.
