The point of the matter is that your metabolism slows down at night and even more when you are sleeping. So when you eat late, it is not as likely to eat burned off, as when you eat during the day.

If between 9pm and 2pm you have the same activity as you'd have between 6pm and 11 pm, then it's the same thing. But this is not a diet, it's just a trick, like drinking a lot of water or not eating fruits for 4 hours after you eat. What you eat until 6pm makes a lot of difference

Suppossedly your body shuts down while you are asleep, so I don't think it would matter. I dated a guy once who worked from like 10 pm to 9 am, he would eat "dinner" when he got home at 9 got to bed around 2 pm and get up around 9am and eat "breakfast"...Same concept only diffrent times and he lost lots of weight!!

It should work, it did for him. I think it all has to do with not going to bed on a full stomach since your metabolism shuts down

Assuming you go to bed around 11pm you should not eat after 6pm. Its very difficult if you have kids or a busy lifestyle. It does make a difference though.
