Are they pressure sealed? Up to 3 years.

Not pressure sealed? Pickling will keep them for a few weeks. Refridgerated they can last several months.

Go to a site for pickling and you will get a better answer. Just Google "pickling" or any variation of that and you will get lots of sites and info about it.

To achieve a good state of pickling, at least one week.

Usually about 6 weeks, but it depends on the type of onion, small shallots are best for staying "crunchy".

once they are pickled, you can eat them at any time.....the flavor won't change
