I suppose it means that what is good for the goose is good for the gander, as they say. In otherwords, atheists habitually lump all Christians into a neat little stereotype on these boards...but when somebody does the same thing for them, all of a sudden it's "nonsense". You can see it here in some of your other answers. Pretty hilarious stuff.

1.It means that like with all beliefs, atheists can be cruel dictators like Stalin or visionary idealists like Lenin. If you're trying to make a point that Lenin and Stalin were both bad and they were the same, you need to study better political history.
2.Stalin was not Russian.

You make the mistake of lumping atheists together. The word simply means someone who is not a religious believer. There is therefore no link at all there.

Compare that to Christians though - how many millions of people have been killed by Christians and for their religion? The crusades, many wars, Northern Ireland, the list is endless.

Atheists are generally much more peace full, moral and accepting of others than those who follow a religion.

They were also chess players. Does that mean I should stop playing chess? Hitler was Christian. I don't think that is anything Christians worry over. Given just about any group, you can find a few people who are bad examples. That is just the nature of humanity.

You can add hitler and a horde of soulless atheists who have attempted to exterminate people of faith. The meaning to atheists is clear proof of the result of their "Godless" Utopian fantasies.
The Reign of God's Kingdom surpasses any other and as in the hearts of millions now, it will reign forever. We are the victors.

note006 above. what comic strip did you read telling you hitler was a Christian?

Hitler was a Christian, what does that mean to Christians today?

The answer to both questions is the same. Nothing except that we need to learn from history so we do not repeat it.

It means that dictators learn how to control, manipulate and abuse the public for their own ends by following the example of religion and how it controls, manipulates and abuses people for it's own ends.

Oh, well if you put it like that, I'd better become a christian again quick, before I go out and kill lots of people and impose my ideals onto them...oh, hold on...that christianity too...oh well, I'll become a Buddhist then.

Thanks for making me see the error of my ways.

Nothing.
Fred Phelps is "Christian". Seems like the same type suggestion you are implying would be apt.
