We are both working parents, having a toddler of 13 month old. Looking for a good day care or flexible family care, or any other suitable options .. Thanks.

day care before age 5 is very harmful to children. it hurts family bonding, it hurts the child's iq, hurts the child's social skills. The child is raised with someone else's ideas of right and wrong, the child will typically spend its day ignored.

NICHD data shows after several decades of study that absence from mom more than 10 hours a week is an absolute disaster for the child's emotional well being.

Don't subject any child to the nightmare and stress of being separated from mommy. It's just so wrong.

ask friends in similar situations, its like hairdressers, you go to one that is recomended by someone whose hair you like

here, go to where a trusted friend sends kids

and have fun paying, bergen county is so expensive

and cassandra is crazy and stupid, because i am certain you will be spending more than 10 hours a week with her, and are probably working for financial reasons, the problem is people like karen on will and grace who never spend time with the kids, not people who have daycare for 8 hours a day

I interviewed several people and finally lucked out when I found a grandma about 55 years old who watched kids in her home, her mother even helped her they were the nicest two ladies. At three I switched him to the preschool thing.
