My bible study back in California used to play lots and lots of games, and we always had fun. One that really stuck out to me in terms of what I learned and how much fun we all had was we separated into teams, and our home group leader had a bag of animal toys. He would take out one toy at a time, for example a lion, and we would get three points if we could remember a verse that specifically mentions a lion with the citation, two points if we could remember the verse or paraphrase it without a citation, and one point if we could open the Bible and dig one out in time. It was lots of fun, and we all learned different and new verses, and which animals were in the Bible!
Another game is simple, in that you sit in a circle and you say the name of a person or place or title in the Bible (example, Song of Songs, woman at the well, Elijah). The person sitting after you has to begin their name or place or title with the last letter of the one that went before. Example: Isaiah, Hosea, Aaron... A lot of fun as well, and if you can't think of one or if you repeat a name that has gone before, then you are out. It's fun trying to remember all the different "H" names, because a lot of Biblical names end in H...and good luck if the person before you ends in a "Y!"
Finally, there are also Bible trivia games. I don't personally enjoy these all the time, because a lot of times it becomes a contest to see who studies their Bible more and can show that to everyone. But if you have a great group of people, and all are fairly comfortable in their knowledge of the Bible to not feel insecure if they don't know everything, then it can be a lot fun for an evening.
Anyway, good luck!

Oh, I have these two that my husband, my boys, and I all play.
One is Redemption: City of Bondage. It's akin to a tabletop Role Playing Game, based on cards with Biblical characters on them, and you play as one of the Biblical heroes (ie Moses, Esther, John, etc), and your goal is to save the Lost Souls from the city, meanwhile fighting Biblical villians (Pharoah, Haman, The Red Dragon, etc). It's a healthy replacement if RPGs are your thing. (It's based off the Redemption Trading Card Game, which would be a good swap-out for Magic:The Gathering- or Pokemon-like TCGs).
The other one we have is Bible Challenge. It's fairly simplistic. Pieces go around the board, and when it lands on a square, a random card is drawn, and the Biblical trivia question that corresponds with that color is asked. A correct answer gets a scoring ring to place on the token. The game is won, normally, by whoever has the most rings. However, Bible Challenge is very freeform, and can be played a multitude of ways. There's also a ton of cards, with questions on both sides, so it'll be quite a while before you run into any repeats.

RE:
Does any one have any good ideas for adult biblical games?
I am trying to find good and no just fun, but instructive biblical games for my adult church member.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you ever played Bible Outburst? Same principle as the game Outburst, but it's all based on names in the Bible and Biblical events. We played it many times at fellowship and had a blast.
