Once you are dead it will be too late, I don't what gave you that idea, but I will try to help.

You're asking the wrong questions by the sounds of it. The Bible is the only Truth. Once you have a personal relationship with God, nobody or nothing can challenge your faith. Believe me, I know my God is real and I can help you if you need to know more, or put you in touch with the appropriate people, You just have to ask.

To be honest, are you sure you're asking true born-again-Christians. I can only advise you to sincerely ask Jesus Christ into your life and everything you want to know about God will eventually be revealed to you as you grow in the Christian Faith. You see you can go to the graves of all your false prophets and Buddha, Miohammed etc. and dig up their remains, but go to Christ's tomb and it's empty, why? because He Rose from the dead.

Openmindly read the Gospels and preferably some of Pauls letters especially the letter to the Ephesians. Once you have experienced this tremendous understanding of God's Will for you, Satan will appear as an angel of light to confuse you, thinking that he will destroy your relationship with God, don't be taken in by this.

If you want chapters and verses then the first thing to do is read Genisis very carefully and read Christian Literature, i.e. Life-How did it get here. But to be honest , all your answers are in the Bible.
You want a quote from the Bible, John 3 v16, Isaiah 43 V 1-3. The Sermon on the Mount, Mathew chapters 5 - 8.

Turning your life over to Christ will take courage, as an ex-soldier, I can truly identify with this. let's put it this way, if there was no God, I wouldn't be here today answering your Question, I wouldn't be alive, and that's the truth. Please, learn to identify the difference between satans manipulation, and the Truth in God. I could give you many scriptual references to your question, but the real step is finding Christ and asking him into your life. There will be no doubt about it, if you're sincere, the Holy Spirit will reveal everything to you. He loves you and wants to save you from hell and an eternity without God.

If it's guidance you need then contact you're nearest true Christian Church, myself, or Christians who will explain anything you need to know. Remember we (True Born-Again-Christians) love everyone.

Krishna said that all beings worship me, just some do not do so in the right way. If this was so, I think you would just go back into the cycle until you attain the understanding needed to rejoin the godhead- you get another chance. I don't know if all gods are that lenient though...

Religion itself is a cult or a group but as long as you follow the rules that GOD has set out for us to live by i.e. live life as good as you can as none of us are perfect but as long as you feed the poor and needy, the orphans, believe in GOD, etc. etc. then we all stand a chance of going to heaven hopefully - as only GOD is the ultimate judge and jury in the end.

I believe that when you are dead, the Truth is manifest. There is no choice. Religion is confined to this sphere of life. In the afterlife there is no suggested code of conduct to live in accordance with the Creator's wishes...it just is.

it would certainly be handy, though I think I'll try the permanent residence thing if changing religion isn't an option. lol

I would say, no. The three main aspects of religion are faith, hope and love. Only love remains after death because you no longer need faith as the truth will be revealed. You no longer need to hope because any hope you had while alive would be realized if you were true to the faith and love aspects of religion..

When your dead what was done the earth is done but there is always hope God reads the heart. so If you desired truth and was unable to find it the heart will tell. your not judge on ignorance and you did not know. but the problem comes is when you know the truth and you did nothing with it. and you have the proof and you did not heed it

What about if you die and realize that there is no God?

Will you be sorry for losing time with religion while you were alive or your hope to find God will not die once you are dead?
