I would concentrate your search on a Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Corsa.
- They are cheap to insure and parts are inexpensive.
Go to www.autotrader.co.uk and www.desperateseller.co.uk
Set the filters to:
min : " £500 ? "
max : " £1000 ? "
miles : " up to 40000 ? "
age: " up to 10 years ? "
search : " national ? "
seller : " private and trade "
sort results by : " price low to high "
Even within these tight parameters, there are Fiestas and Corsas available.

i would say that peugeot 306 1.9 trubo diesel there on for about 1,000 for about an n reg aor newer and there very reliable look on the internet or but the adtrader

Hondas are a great used car but they hold their value. I had a kia and traded it in when it was 5 years old...I wish I had it back.
