That doesn't make sense. I do not see any church's shrinking in size anywhere.....
Bars and dance clubs are businesses. Owners are there to make money. If the place is big, there's a good chance for a large dance floor. Did you also know that not EVERYONE who goes to these places drinks???? What a concept, huh? Some people like to dance.

Bars and dance golf equipment are made greater on the threshold of financial returns and is obviously tangible although temporary in nature. Church have become smaller because of the fact the better ones have become stressful to maintain and its return isn't tangible yet everlasting in religious income.

That's a definate sign of the times and what people value. Sad isn't it?
I must say, I have seen some mega-churches with thousands of people attending. But, I wonder if they are the 'Sunday Christians' who on Friday and Saturday night are going to those big bars and dance clubs you mentioned.
I prefer to be a Monday thru Sunday Christian and leave the bars and clubs to the people who are lost in their attempts to find happiness.

Churches are getting smaller because nobody going to church! And heres why, the church my GF goes to has banned decorations on head stones of loved ones because it interferes with mowing the grass, now she had a statue of mary on her grandmother's head stone that was mounted to it, again, MOUNTED, it was not going anywhere, her church unmounted it and threw it away with other peoples decorations, that was enough for them to stop going to church. These churches have become so anal retentive, in my area at least, that nobody wants to be apart of something that doesnt respect what they do in regards to their loved ones.

Could it be due to an aversion to hypocrites? Half the people in the bar on Saturday night are the ones in church the next morning!

You have to be able to shake your groove thang without bumping the person next to you, right? And some of these dances take up a lot of space.

Don't know about that...megachurches are cropping up in my area...some holding up to 6 services a week and also require police to direct traffic when church lets out.

it is plain about the number of people that visit these places. I guess more people are visiting clubs than church , I know african guy who goes to church for his own selfish purpose of scholarship , but goes to club to get the girls , he may not be righteous but he is now successfull and rich like crazy. I guess its all about being smart.

Because religion is growing irrelevant since it is being run by radicals without reason and logic. It is a flawed organization.
