something told me not to leave my favorite coat over my girlfriends house cause i knew we were on the fritz and could break up any day now. what happens. she leaves me a letter at my house yesterday sayin she wants to break up. forget cursing her out for leaving me a nutty letter, forget tryna be friends, forget tryna talk it out i just really wanna go get my coat. how should i go about doing this.
p.s. the coat was a gift from her

thats wild...u could always be like im comin to get my shi t and then after that we thru, we aint gotta see each other or talk to each other no more...but at the same time u would be kinda playin urself to go to her house and get a coat SHE bought u. u might wanna just take a L and forget about the coat.

You wont be getting the coat back, sorry. She is going to keep it especially since she bought it for you as a gift. This was the perfect opportunity for her. You can try to get it back, but I don't think it will happen. Just move on. Good luck next time.

Try to ask her for it. If she is a good person, then she'll give you the coat back. If she's childish and immature, you can forget the coat. Good luck!!!!

Just stop by and tell her that you forgot something and you need to get your stuff since your on a split. Once she lets you in just get your coat and leave.

You aren't a fool you just trusted the wrong person. If asking for it back doesn't work, call the police and tell them it was a gift from her to you. If you really want it, you can always go to court for it. Just please remember that it was a gift and you are entitled to it.
