Everything was normal, but for the last 2 weeks she started buying some hippie clothes and listening to bob marly and I don't know, ska punk, old rock? Anyway, now she wants to break up, even though we are together since January. She wants to end a long and serious relationship because she thinks that I, with my normal image, don't fit in her, now strange way of thinking. Is there anything I can do for her? Help her out somehow? I mean, should I even try? Maybe she hasen't never even loved me... But how then would she go with someone for such a long time?

u know dating from January is not too long! but anyway, don't prohibit her to change image! it is her life and if she really wants to do it- let her be free in her ambitions! every person has his own right to change the style of living life! the real problem is that she wants to push u away because she thinks u don't fit her! if so - break up and don't look back!!!!love cant depend on the style of music u listen or jeans u wear! she doesn't love u ! person cant stop loving his beloved only because he likes another style of music! it is nonsense! i am sure u will find a better girl who will make u happy with her real love!!!! i know u deserve this!

I know how you feel. I'd been dating my ex for about the same amount of time when last week he decides that we dont match. It's true we were different but the point is you start to wonder if the person loved you at all. And just like you it bothers me that he waited so long to decide we were too different to be together.

The best thing to do is to put it behind you. Enjoy the memories that you had together and realize that you can't make her be someone she's not.

Seven months seems like a long time but it is not...as people get older they are subject to growth which may cause them to change and they might not end up how they started. You have changed too just as she has but you may no longer compliment each other the way you used to. She has made her decision so my advice is to let it go and find somebody else to grow with.

If you have to ask, just move on. She doesn't really need help. And if you think her new way of thinking is just strange... well, then you probably don't fit in with it.

If you're going to listen to a bunch of people you don't even know tell you that your relationship isn't worth another try, than it obviously isn't.
