I dont know which religion u belong to......... few mentioned that its a sweet arabic name. Then its fine. But if ur a hindu, i feel its not that ok,

It's OK I guess But the real question is how will her peers react to it as she grows up. Unfortunately children can be very cruel. Naming a child an unusual name can often bring on a lot of unwanted attention.

According to Vedic culture we generally give Babies the name of God.. that way when you call then you chant the name of God ...
there are many names like Krishna, Rama , Narayana, Buddha, Nrsimha, Gopala, Govinda ...if you are specially interested in Sanskrit name .....

I don't think it's a matter of the sound of the name but more the meaning... don't ya think? And that would be a dumb meaning to give a child and not very original.
