It depends on how you package it to be frozen. With the products at the grocery store, you'd be better off wrapping it in freezer wrap or putting it in freezer bags instead of leaving it in the original packaging. Depending on what kind of meat it is, you can probably leave it in there (and have it still be safe to eat) for 3 months to a year.

Depends on how fresh the meat was before being frozen, the kind of meat, & how well it was packaged before freezing. I always date my food before puting it in the freezer, & throw it away if it's clearly "burned" or more than 6 months old.

I have left in my freezer for a year before I used it and there was nothing wrong with it..as long as it is freezer wrapped.

as long as you want but it is better to eat it before one year.
you have to defrost it without using hot water or the microwave, you just put it out and add normal cold water.
