Does anyone else like marble cake?

I've been experimenting with marble cake recently - and doing a tricolour one, flavoured with: brown section - cocoa; white section - vanilla; pink section - chocolate essence. Thiat's had the thumbs up from everyone who's tried it, and, although I say it myself, it's not bad. It's so easy to make, and so effective!
Either that, or a mean banana bread (with lots of golden syrup in to give a crust), or a marmalade and walnut cake. My nan used to make a fabulous black forest gateau.... mmmmm.... cake....

Oh yes, love cake + would prefer cake for a carbs fix over bread say. Marble cake is yummy. Home made best, so many shop bought cakes can taste too powdery. This is definitely a lunch time need to grab a bite question!

LET THEM EAT CAKE!!! I say.
I think anyone who doesn't like cake has serious problems and I don't trust them (and I am a therapist!!!)
I have to limit the amount of cake I eat because I want to keep to a healthy weight......but whenever possible I eat LOTS.
My favourites are CHOCOLATE - especially Tiramisu......the combination of chocolate and cream is so divine!!!
PS YES!! I love marble cake too! It LOOKS so tasty as well as the way it tastes. I love the swirling patterns made by the chocolate and vanilla .....and the taste is Exquisite!
My mom used to make Marble cake and I eat it in my dreams!

Marble cake..naaa thats old ladys comfort food.
I love Devils food cake and my very own Dark Chocolate fudge cream cake. I made the recipe up myself and everybody loves it its just laced with choclate and 1000's of calories so I make it only on special occasions..but boy is it too die for!

I love marble cake with Ambrosia White Sauce over the top! Delicious!! But my favourite would have to be Hot chocolate fudge cake with chocolate sauce and fresh cream poured over !! mmmm to die for!!

I like marble cake with chocolate fudge icing . My favorite lately has been white cake with whip cream icing .

Not really a cake eater but if I was to have some it would be Chocolate Fudge cake and ice-cream! Yummy!
