Hot dogs as long boats
Licorice eye patches
and of course, lots and lots of chocolate gold coins as loot
I'd say pork swords, but this is a kids' party...
I googled "pirate food" and found this: http://www.deadmentellnotales.com
they have some good stuff, including gummy skull & crossbones and the aforementioned chocolate gold coins

Fill pirate hats with chips, dips and other goodies and these can be used as your serving bowls. You can line the inside with a small bowl or plastic plate for the lining.
Use plastic treasure chests too. They can be filled with food
or toys. Pirates chests are fun to use as centerpieces too!
orientaltradingcompany.com has a lot of great pirate party stuff
and they are very inexpensive. Great favor ideas too. I use them for all my party things.
