Your hair only grows about 1/4 inch per month. The only way to stimiulate hair growth is increasing blood flow from your scalp. Remember the old saying "brushing your hair 100 times before you go to bed will make it grow"? That's not entirely an urban myth. But, too much brushing can also damage your hair.
Lots of vitamins in your body and your hair, drink lots of water, and brush with a vent brush. Also, visit a Sally Beauty Supply near you. They are awesome at giving suggestions.

The things that they are doing now involves hair transplants, and plugs, but to my knowledge there is nothing out there that will re-grow hair permanently. They have stuff like Rogaine, and other chemicals, which may work temporarily, but the hair growth isn't that great.
