I think you probably already know the answer to this question, but are just being too shallow-minded to see it. People fall in love with people because they are attracted to them, because they like their personality, and because they enjoy being around the person. Why should it matter the sex of the person, as long as the two people are compatible and happy?
Love is hard to find in this world, and whether you find it with someone of the same or opposite sex, it should be cherished and held onto.
