James 1:5 So, if any one of you is lacking in wisdom, let him keep on asking God, for he gives generously to all and without reproaching, and it will be given him. 6) But let him keep on asking in faith, not doubting at all, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and blown about. Let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from God/YHWH..
Keep praying until the Holy Spirit cause you to know what the answer to your prayer is.

God always has your best interests at heart. Sometimes this means we dont always get what we ask for, for our own good, although we may not understand why at the time. Sometimes it means God's answer is yes, but we never know when it will be answered. As an example, you might pray for a pay rise at work. Then you get fired, and you think God hasnt answered your prayer. Then you get offered a better job for more money that you enjoy more. And you realise God HAS answered your prayer, but in his own way, not yours.(which turned out better than expected).

Some don't follow directions well, huh?
Anyhow. I've always known "Yes, No, or Wait."
Search the Scriptures for your request. If you find others that have received answers, you're probably in the same category.
Also, when you're pretty sure that you're within God's will for your request, ask others to agree with you in prayer. Ask for intercession, not neccesarily for a Yes, but for an answer in general.
Just remember, your idea might not be God's, but always trust that He's in control & He'll put you where He wants you to be, where you'll be the most properous according to His will.

There are no answers to prayers. It's a one-way conversation with air.
There are things that happen that people attribute to some prayer they said some time earlier, but there really is no true correlation.

Well let say you have a bad leg, If you ask for it to be healed and it is, then that a yes. If it is not then that a no. I know that is a very simple way of telling about it but sometime it is that simple. Other times it not so and it takes some wisdom to understand it.

Simply.. he does not answer them that is how you know the answer is no.
For example. If you have a loved one who is in the hospital and you pray for their well being and find out that they just died right after praying for them that is how you know that this so called god did not answer your prayer.

If you pray and nothing happens but you feel better about donating money to the church, then obviously your prayer has been answered.

Why pray? I thought that god had a "big plan" for everyone? If you pray for a change in his plan, then aren't you saying, "your 'devine' plan is not to my liking"? If you're silly enough to believe in a hoax, then you truly deserve the uncertainty that is your life. Cheers.

God is a GOD......... His answer would depend on His will for you and that is what is good for you though you may not know it yet... As in a verse...His thoughts are higher than your thoughts... so for the time being, you may not understand what is happening in your life... but God is there for you always... for God is also a God of love.... Bless you
