I doubt that you can change it to print black text on white background, because a PDF file is actually a picture of the document, not a text document.
If you have the actual Adobe Acrobat program used to create PDF files, and not just the reader, you should be able to open the file, select the text, and copy the text into a word processor file (Wordpad, Word, Notepad, etc.)

2 Ways to do it.
1. If you have Adobe Illustrator, you can open up pdf pages one by one and remove the background, select all the text and change the color. That's tedious.
2. I Think this may be available only if you have Acrobat Professional, but you can go Edit-->Select All and then paste it into MS Word.

Yes you can but you have to do more on that pdf file. First of all covert that pdf file into html and then in any html program change it's color to black then you will get that you want to print.

Or you can get ABCpdf converter its a program that allows you to try it before you buy. convert the pdf to any of dozens of other formats like Word and its done automatically for you. Cost about $12.95 I think the company is Process Text Group. not sure.

I suggest take a grey scale print out (Not Black & White), when u press Ctrl + P, print window popups, just go through option and search for grey scale option and tick it.

you can try to copy the text and paste it into another document but if they locked the document you will not be able to do anything
