it's either gum abcess or dental (from tooth) abcess.
gum abcess forms in the pocket (around the tooth) while dental abcess forms in a swelling and is usually close to a tooth with big holes or big filling.the bacteria from the tooth has spread to the jaw and will get into your blood stream.if it is in the lower jaw, the bacteria will travel to pharynx,cause it to swell and you'll experience difficulty in breathing(or cant breath at all).if it is in the upper jaw,the bacteria travel to the brain and you can get brain infection.

so go and consult your dentist today!

you need to get some antibotics asap, and see your dentist asap if you dont you will be in a world of hurt my friend it is nothing to mess with if the infection is not treated it could kill you

It will get bigger until your face blows up. You could get blood poisoning and die. Dont leave it. I am being serious I have had two and ended up like the elephant man, so dont leave it they can be fatal.

it will eat into the tooth, then the bone below, and into the blood vessels - and spread to the rest of the body and you die a miserable death

if you are lucky it will eat through the bone into a brain and you die from a brain abscess
