Red Devil Pepper Sauce Recipe Return to Recipes!!!

Ingredients
6 t Bonnet-type chiles 1 t Ketchup
3 medium Onions, diced 1 t Pickapeppa Sauce
2 Allspice berries, crushed 2 c Distilled vinegar
Instructions
Place the chiles, onions, and crushed allspice in the bowl of
a food processor and mince until fine. In a small saucepan, add
the remaining ingredients to the chile mixture and bring to a boil,
stirring occasionally. Allow to cool and place the pepper sauce in a
bottle. It will keep for several months in the refrigerator. Use sparingly
to accompany stews, grilled meats, and whatever you feel could use a bit of
the devil. Makes 2 cups.

hot sauce Recipe
1/2 c Minced yellow onion
1/2 c Minced sweet green pepper
2 Cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 c Olive oil
2 ts Chili powder
2 c Tomato puree
1/2 c Red wine vinegar
1/3 c Firmly packed dark brown
-sugar
1/4 ts Crushed dried hot red chili
-peppers
1 1/2 ts Salt
Stir fry onion, green pepper and garlic in oil in a saucepan over moderate heat 5 to 8 minutes until onion is pale golden.
Add chili powder and stir fry 1 to 2 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Use as a basting sauce for spareribs, beef or poultry.
