I want to keep our relationship going (and he's booked a really nice hotel) but I fear telling him the truth may frighten him away.

That's really funny. Send pictures of him finding out.

I knew it was too good to be true...

Look, lets go on the date anyway, I have to admit I am actually a 24 year old female nurse pretending to be a 42 year old fat plumber so I a glad we are both being honest finally.

I think we are star-cross'd lovers (to quoth the Bard)...We could still make beautiful music. I am glad everything is now out in the open; let's go for it and see what happens

Love

Ichi

Hang out at the designated meeting time and place and loudly complain that some chick claiming to be a 24 year-old Nurse promised you'd be able to watch her and some net-perv making out...
Worth it just for the comedy value.

assuming this is not a joke question....turn it around..how would you feel in that instance....? I suggest you tell him now, and if he is still keen well good. If you met him and didnt tell him...he would walk away or may make a hurtful remark...In future be confident enough to be you...plenty folk would be happy with a curvaceous(dont say fat) plumber...I bet you have some funny stories...be honest in future. all the best.

erm...ASAP!!!!!! seriously ........ relationship?? you can't possibly be having a relationship if the other person thinks you are a completely different person....?????? And more to the point ; if this indicative of your said 'relationship' have you thought out the possibility that you could also be in for a shock - your 'guy' could be a Freddie Kruger look-alike!!!.... LOL

You shouldn't have to lie about your sexual orientation, so why do you? I suggest you tell him before meeting as you may end up with bodily harm. Straight guys do no like being misled this way.
