In Genesis Adonai(GOD) made Covenant With Abram, but promised Sarah a son(Isac) not Abraham and from that son the promised Messiah was supposed to come, So because of disobedience, Sarah told Abraham to laid with Hagar which had also a son(Ishmael). Ishmael is not the son of promised Adonai also blessed him but the promised came trough Isac. Adonai told Abraham "Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year."

Only God knows why he picked some people as prophets over others. The mythology of only Jews can be prophets doesn't make a whole a lot of sense to me.
Mecca is in the center of this earth so this could be a reason why he was chosen to be the last prophet for the humankind.

God didn't give anyone any extra time. Their were prophets in both the Northern & Southern nation of Israel.
Muhammed is the one who said he was God's last prophet. God never said any such thing.

The early jews know that Muhammad s.a.w. is the promise prophet mention, but most of them didnt except this cos he is an Arab. The jews think they r superior than the Arabs. the prophet Muhammed (PBUH) is the Last Prophet of Allah/god and at least u must respesct the muslims and their feeling coz they love this prophet(PBUH) morethan theirselves and i think that they will not be happy to find saying that about their prophet(PBUH)
