She could have a condition that makes her spasm uncontrollably.
But why don't you first suggest a good lubricant -- like KY Jelly? That can help everything go smoother.
A doctor could really help but try the KY first.

If she doesn't have a psychological problem, alcohol on both parts will smooth the mood, maybe even better than lubricants. But if she has psychological problems, a therapist is where the couple should go.
But the question is "he finds it difficult to insert". Maybe he has erection problems, then he should see a doctor, too. Erection problems are easily solved today.

maybe her vaginal orifice is too narrow...the firs thing that comes into my mind is "why"...please bear with my theories...it could be the cause of some anxiety, maybe an underlying psychological condition...why doesn't she consult a doctor? what is she afraid of? has this happened before with other previous partners? or is it because shes a virgin? does she have vaginismus? did she have an early traumatic experience? there are a lot of factors here...it could be psychological or physiologic?..please post more details....and i suggest that she try to find out why she is having this difficulty....either by seeking medical help or finding out for herself?

Some women have a natural tendency to tense up before insertion..
